28(ish) days later...

It started as rioting. But right from the beginning, you knew this was different. It was happening in small villages, market towns. And then it wasn’t on the TV anymore. It was in the streets outside. It was coming in through your windows.

28(ish) days ago, hireful was born.

Okay, so it wasn’t quite as dramatic as all that, but it’s been a really interesting first few weeks. A few people are still struggling with the ‘Hi, it’s [name] from hireful’ part, and don’t even get us started on the lowercase h issues we’ve been having…

On the whole, though, the rebrand has been a massive success both internally and externally. Here’s a quick look at some of the highlights from the past few weeks.

Firstly, it seems that the new brand has gone down a treat away from hireful HQ. We’ve had some great feedback from partners and customers, while a little bit of compliment fishing on LinkedIn also had the desired effect!

We rebranded because we felt that EasyWeb no longer represented the way we do things here. In hireful, we’ve found a name and a brand that perfectly reflects our approach to business.

new resources.

If you hadn’t already noticed by clicking on this news story, we’ve got a new website! But it’s not just a facelift; we’ve also added some serious extra beef to our resources section. We’ve got new diversity and inclusion reports and an employer brand audit – while we’ve also put our heads together to create a very hireful ‘choosing an ATS’ pack.

There’s a new section on our website just for job seekers, too. A couple of new people have also joined the business; we now have our very own videographer and a dedicated content writer, and have topped up our recruiting talent with a new senior recruitment consultant.

Add to that our ongoing webinars and existing reports, plus the new blog section we’ve just started to update, and our shiny new website’s looking pretty full already.

Phew! That’s actually quite a bit of new, when we put it like that.

the SUB1000 podcast.

Another name! It’s not too complicated though – ‘SUB1000’ is just our way of referring to organisations with fewer than 1,000 members of staff, and we’ve just released our very own podcast just for them.

The SUB1000 podcast is hosted by our co-founder, Adrian McDonagh, and features a different guest each week. Each episode is around half an hour long, and is structured as a pretty informal chat about a certain part of the recruitment or HR world.

any hiccups?

Aside from a few groans (and one or two late nights) from the marketing team, it’s been pretty plain sailing. The only disappointment from the past few weeks has been the postponement of our upcoming workshops. With people reluctant to travel at the moment and the coronavirus situation developing pretty rapidly, we felt it was best to put these on hold until after the summer holidays.

… and breathe

So here we are, 28 days later. A little older, slightly wiser, and with a few more clients. Who knows what the next 28 days hold? If they’re half as eventful as the last lot, we’re in for another few very interesting weeks.

Bring on the summer, some warm(er) weather, and perhaps the odd ‘outbreak’ of normality.
